Services: BeAlere (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) provide creative sessions for early years and older children. We agree to provide services (i.e sessions and events) by the following terms and conditions. These terms, together with our online booking form specifying dates to which your booking relates, form the contract between us and you. BeAlere deliver sessions to the highest standard of service and your safety is our main concern.
BOOKING / PAYMENT OF SESSIONS
Bookings are made and paid for by you online through the booking platform (including free sessions). Session tickets must be paid for in full upon time of booking via the secure booking system to BeAlere UEN. We cannot accept cash in session.
Bookings are non-refundable except where required by law. Missed sessions due to illness, holidays or personal circumstances are not eligible for refund unless otherwise stated. BeAlere may, at its discretion, offer make-up sessions subject to availability.
BeAlere reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify sessions, venues, facilitators or session structure where necessary. Where BeAlere cancels a session, a suitable replacement session, credit or refund may be offered at our discretion.
Late arrivals may miss important safety instructions or introductory activities. Sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY
We like you taking pictures or videos of your children having fun during our sessions, provided it does not interfere with the session. In addition, please always be sensitive of taking pictures and ensure that others are not in your photos/videos without gaining their permission. If you are asked to stop, please do respect the rights of others.
BeAlere may take photographs during sessions and may occasionally seek your permission to use photographs or videos for promotional, educational or social media purposes. Parents/carers may opt out of media use by informing BeAlere in writing prior to the session.
BeAlere forbids the reproduction of any part of our sessions or events in any form without our consent. Any person suspected of recording or photographing sessions for commercial or unauthorised purposes will be asked to stop and may be asked to leave the session.
HEALTH, SAFETY & SESSION CONDUCT
BeAlere sessions follow specific checks of the venues and equipment to ensure they are clean and safe.
All children are the responsibility of the parent/carer accompanying them and they must be supervised at all times and not left unattended. The Session Leader cannot be responsible for a child at any time.
Older siblings cannot attend unless discussed in advance with the Session Leader and invited.
Parents/carers are responsible for informing BeAlere of any allergies, medical conditions, behavioural concerns or additional needs prior to attending sessions. BeAlere cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.
Please bring only healthy children to sessions. You/the carer and your child should remain at home if either of you have had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhea within the past 48 hours or are exhibiting contagious symptoms (including but not limited to Covid-19, chicken pox, measles, impetigo, ear infection, conjunctivitis, hand foot and mouth disease or Norovirus).
We reserve the right to refuse admittance to a session if we feel that the child or adult is too ill to participate.
In the event of an emergency, BeAlere may seek medical assistance for a participant where a parent/carer cannot immediately be contacted. Any associated medical costs remain the responsibility of the parent/carer.
OUTDOOR SESSIONS
BeAlere Stories sessions which take place in outdoor settings may necessarily involve exposure to the elements, flora and fauna.
BeAlere will provide a clean and dry area for children to sit (e.g. mat); however, we cannot be generally responsible for keeping children contained within that area — that is the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
Upon successful booking of an outdoor session, BeAlere may email information including suggested attire and the location of the nearest toilet, first aid post etc. However, it is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to ensure their child has sufficient sunblock, insect repellent, spare clothing and weather-appropriate attire.
BeAlere sessions may involve water, paint, mud, natural materials and sensory experiences. Please dress children and adults appropriately in clothing suitable for messy play.
If children wander away from the main group, they are the sole responsibility of their accompanying adult.
Outdoor sessions proceed in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by BeAlere due to lightning, severe weather, haze or other environmental concerns. BeAlere reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify sessions where necessary for safety reasons.
FUNCTION ROOM / OTHER PRIVATE FACILITIES
BeAlere sessions which take place in condo function rooms, private homes or other settings which may include indoor furnishings and fixtures will remain the liability of the individual who made the booking.
The Session Leader will take every care to ensure that they personally do not create mess or additional hazards; however, each accompanying adult retains responsibility for their own child(ren).
